Melting Pot
North America has always been a land of great diversity and economic opportunity. Its sheer size not only offered a variety of climatic and geographic differences, but provided abundant resources as well. As word spread of these resources and more and more people sought to inhabit this land, each group brought with them their own beliefs and culture to contribute to the large melting pot that is America. To show the diversity that began in early America, start by looking at the diversity in your own classroom.
